For sale: 99 Guzzi "V10 Sport"

This is the Moto Guzzi that we all wanted. I built my own. After my disapointment with the true ridability of my restored V7 Sport this was my next effort. I started with a 99 Bassa complete and saved the frame suspension and runnuing gear. 17" custom alloy tubeless wheels, carbon fiber front fender, early bullet headlite shell, repop V7 Sport tank, V7 Sport seatpan with new padding and upholstery, genuine V7 Sport SS rear fender and early tail light. Disciatti full floating rotors (frt). It now has Brembo radial master cylinders and hydraulic clutch actuation.

The motor is done from front (gear driven timing) to back (flywheel cut to 1/2 the stock weight by Ed Milich). In between are worked heads, balanced rods, titaneum pushrods and Ferraci 11:1 pistons. The exhaust system is all custom using Daytona stainless steel headers, modified Stucchi crossover and slashcut mufflers. The motor runs great. Check out the complete custom fabbed swingarm with full floating drive box and brake.

Also note the custom "V10 SPORT Bassa SS" tool box logos. There are simply too many details to describe. I have a CD with 44 detailed pics if you are really interested. You will either have to convince me of your interest or send me $10 bucks. I'll refund the $10 if you mail it back or credit you if you buy. I,ve put about 3500 miles on this bike including a roundtrip to California from Texas. There are no problems. It simply has a lot of stablemates and is seldom ridden.

It's entirely qualified to be a daily rider. It needs a maim seal. The one in there is near new (3500 miles) but the bike sits in the shop too much. It also needs the tach hooked up (if you care) and the front brake light switch and harness is there but not hooked to the bike harness. If you could do all the work yourself you probably build one of these for about $20K (I did.) This one you can have for $10,500. This may be the only opportunity you will ever have to have the ONLY one of anything.
